Arrival at Guwahati Airport. Pickup and Drive to Bhalukpong (260 km). It is located by the scenic Kameng river.Bhalukpong, which falls in West Kameng District is 56 km from Tezpur. Bhalukpong, at a height of 700 ft above sea level, is a little town on the Kameng River and lies along the dense forests that form the border of the Pakhui Wildlife Sanctuary. Bhalukpong is a mesmerizing place for wildlife enthusiasts and nature lovers. Scenic beauty, high water falls and the banks of river Kameng surrounded by evergreen forests are a photographer's delight. Overnight at Bhalukpong.
DAY 2 : BHALUKPONG TO DIRANG [140 KM / 4 HRS APPROX] [ALTITUDE – 5,200 FT.]
After breakfast, check out of the Hotel & transfer to Dirang, crossing the same sela Pass (14000 ft.) from sea level and reaching Dirang by afternoon. We will visit to drive to Shangti valley, this valley is famous for Black Named cranes that come in the month of October and fly back in the month of May. Considered to be the best valley in Eastern Himalayan Zone. Explore Tipi Orchidarium, Apple orchards, Nag Mandir, Sangti Valley etc. Overnight at Dirang.
DAY 3 : DIRANG TO MANDALA TOP AND THEMBHANG VILLAGE DAY EXCURSIONS [UNESCO]
After breakfast, drive to Mandala top, Mandala Top is a series of 108 Buddhist Stupas that have been built in a circle on a top mountain in Arunachal Pradesh. It was built in 2018, brand new and worth visiting. This place also attracts lots of birding tourists and sight beauty is so perfect for Photography. Lunch you can have on the mid way and drive to the fortified Thambang heritage village by UNESCO. Thembang is an ancient village, which was said to be established before the first century AD. From the Sela pass road winds down to Jong Village. On the way to Jong visit Yashwant Garh War Memorial. After lunch at Jong Village starts for Tawang. On the way, visit Nuranang Fall. DAY 5 : BUMLA PASS EXCURSION (55 KM / 2.5 HRS) [ALTITUDE – 16,500 FT.]
Enjoy a full day excursion to visit the PT Tso Lake, Bumla Pass, Sangetsar Lake. Sangestser is popularly known as (Madhuri Lake) which was named after the Legendary Bollywood star Madhuri Dixit, located 35 km from Tawang near China border. The drive for Sangestserlake is full of thrill and one can still see the war bankers that had been used during the Chinese aggression in 1962 and the beautiful lake. Drive back to Tawang. DAY 6 : TAWANG LOCAL SIGHTSEEING
Sightseeing in and around Tawang city. Visit the famous Tawang Monastery, which is 400 years old, accommodates over 500 monks and houses priceless Buddhist texts and scriptures. All the hotels, food quality, driver, behaviour of hotel staff were just excellent. Trip was very much well organized by Mr. Arpan & Mr. Indrajit. thank you for arranging such a wonderful trip. Arpan & Indrajit used to call me twice a day to know whether there is any area of concern/improvement. This was my second trip with nature wings. We were planning to visit the North East and some ease to access locations. We got in touch with NatureWings who suggested and designed the package for us which was for 6 days including 2 days stay each at Shillong, Cherrapunjee and Kaziranga.
Naturewings had got our hotels booked and arranged for a cab pick up from the Guwahati airport who stayed with us during our journey and then finally dropped us back to the airport at Guwahati at the end of the trip.
I must say not only the trip well planned but the choice of stay and the points to visit at the various tourist spots was very well thought of. The cab operator who was a local person was very friendly and helpful. He acted as guide to us and advised and informed us on points of interest.
We had stayed at Orchid Lake Resort Barapani and Barbareek Inn at Shillong, at Cherrapunjee Holiday Resort at Cherrapunjee and at Wild Grass Resort at Kaziranga. The stay at these places were very comfortable and along with the tranquility and scenic beauty Orchid, Cherrapunjee Resort and Wild Grass Lodge it turned out to be a very memorable and enjoyable stay.
Naturewings were also regularly in touch with us and though we really didn't need any help as everything was very well planned out. Must mention the support we got from Ms Arpita and later Mr. Ratul who kept in regular touch.

We have taken Kaziranga and Arunachal Trip through NatureWings in this year January month. It was Nine Nights trip with my three friends and their families. Our trip includes Kaziranga, Tawang, Dirang, Bomdila and Bhalukpong. We are from Mumbai and we got the reference of NatureWings from one of my close friend, who took the North East Package Tour from NatureWings last year and suggested me to take the Kaziranga Package Tour along with Arunachal with NatureWings only as they were extremely happy with NatureWings Service. So after a discussion, we did lots of customization as our choice and they revised the itinerary happily so many times. We have planned for Kaziranga Jungle Safari for long and our first day was in Kaziranga Jungle and on the next day early morning we took the famous Kaziranga Elephant Safari. It was only once in a life time experience as we could see the One Horn Rhinos just from few metre distance. In the afternoon, we took the Kaziranga Jeep Safari in the central range and that too was great experience. We stayed in a nice resort close to Kaziranga Western Range and resort was very beautiful with nice ambience, food and service were extremely good. Next day, we started for Western Aurnachal and we visited Bomdila, Tawang, Diranga and Bhalukpong and overall Arunachal experience was also very good. We were very confused about whether to choose Arunachal Pradesh as our holiday destination but NatureWings, especially Suman convinced us that it will be a good journey and he made it. We booked our Arunachal Tour for Nov 2019 end. We were 6 persons traveling from Mumbai. We reached Gauhati by air and from there, our Arunachal Tour started with a tour guide cum driver provided by NatureWings. In this remote off-beat destination like Arunachal, you have to depend entirely on your driver and thankfully we got a decent and cordial driver throughout our Arunachal Tour. On our return, we visited Kamakhya Temple and offered puja. It was a nice trip. Mr. Suman from NatureWings deserves a Kudos.

It was such an amazing tour to Arunachal Pradesh that I can't get over it even after a year of our visit especially the quaint town of Tawang. Our family planned to have an incredible vacation to this North Eastern State with our journey starting from Guwahati and covering beautiful places like Bhalukpong, Dirang, Tawang, Bomdila, Tezpur, and Kaziranga. The destination was great, and we enjoyed a lot while staying in good accommodation amidst the mountains, quiet nature with serenity and peace was true bliss.

Tawang is a beautiful place to visit while on a North East Package Tour and in early 2020 we got a chance to explore this beautiful place amidst the tough mountains. The highlight of this place is its 400 years old Tawang monastery along with few ads on nearby places like Jaswant Singh Memorial, Nuranang falls, Bumla Pass, Sangetsar Lake, and War memorial. Although the place was undoubtedly great with a good stay, but the food is an issue here as my mother being vegetarian had to rely upon minimal options, but other than that we had a great family time.
