DAY 6: FLY BACK JOMSOM TO POKHARA

Fewa Lake - Phewa Lake or Fewa Lake is the major attraction of Pokhara Valley, located in the south of Pokhara city. It is a freshwater lake of area size of area 4.43 sq km. The Annapurna mountain range is only 28 km from the lake, and it's an unforgettable experience to witness the shadow of Mount Annapurna snow peak in the lake water. You can expect a mesmerizing view of mountain Annapurna from the lake during the wintertime when the sky is generally clear. Boating in the Fewa Lake with your family and near & dear ones is an everlasting memory in your life. You can also do a Puja (Worship) of Hindu god Vishnu at the Tal Barahi Temple located at the center of the lake. You can also get the thrilling experience when you put yourself in a big ball and the balls rolling into the water.



Tal Barahi Temple - Tal Barahi Temple is located in the middle of Phewa Lake, in a small island within the lake. The devotees usually visit the temple on Saturday. The temple is for Hindu Goddess Devi Durga. You may request your boatman in Phewa Lake to take you to Tal Barahi Temple, and they will be happy to do that.

Devis Fall - The Devis waterfall starts from Pardi Khola Stream, which eventually vanishes in the underground. After the rainy season, the sound of water plunging over the falls is deafening. According to locals, one Swedish visitor along with his girlfriend named as Devis, who jumped into the sinkhole and drowned away and since then it is called as Devis Waterfall.

Gupteswar Mahadev Cave - Gupteswar Mahadev cave is at the downstream of Devi's waterfall, and the cave is gigantic, you can discover Gupteswar or Shiva Lingam at the end of the cave. You need to go downstairs through several staircases, and you need to climb up while completing the Darshan of Shiva Lingam. Though in this cave, enough lighting is provided, but still better to carry your torchlight.

Peace Pagoda - Pokhara Shanti Stupa or Peace Pagoda is a Buddhist pagoda-style monument located in the Anadu Hills of Pokhra valley and situated around 3600 ft above the sea level. It offers a mesmerizing view of Fewa Lake, Pokhra Valley, and Mount Annapurna Fish Tail peaks. From the car parking place, you need to climb around 250 staircases to reach the stupa level, and once you reach the top, the view from the top will give you an unforgettable experience in your life. Come back to hotel, get fresh and complete your breakfast. Today we will proceed for Chitwan National Park Tour. Chitwan is almost 170km from Lumbini and it can take up to 5 to 6 hrs to travel. Chitwan National Park is the first National Park in Nepal established in the year 1973. This park gained the World Heritage Site status in 1984. Chitwan is home to more than 68 mammal's species. It was my first trip to Nepal and my first experience with NatureWings as well. I have to say it was a great Nepal Package Tour organized by NatureWings. Every aspect of the Nepal Trip was very much well organized by NatureWings. I visited Monkey temple (Swayambhunath Stupa) of Kathmandu, Pasupatinath, three Darbar squares, which were prime historical places of Nepal. I loved the peach of Pokhara city, Fewa Lake was breathtaking. The mountains, sunrise, waterfalls, people, and their smiley faces I never forget. The hotel selection by the agency was very much choice able. We liked the hotel in Pokhra, Fishtail lodge was stunning property, overlooking the Mount Annapurna snow peak from their courtyard. Every day a person from the travel agency was in touch with me for any travel-related issues. The guide was a knowledgeable and friendly person. He is ready to carry my bags every time. Nepal is safe to travel - go for a visit. In the end, we must say our Nepal tour was a memorable and relaxing one.

Recently we completed our dream Trip to Nepal with NatureWings. Myself, with my four friends, completed our trip in 8 days. The accommodations arranged by NatureWings for our Nepal Package were really superb and perfectly organized as per their commitment. The driver provided to accompany us for the trip was a very gentle and kind-hearted person. He showed us the breathtaking beauty of the region and several World Heritage Sites. The Special attraction of our trip was availing Everest flight or the Mountain Flight service from Kathmandu. We have witnessed an unforgettable experience and a breathtaking view of Mount Everest from the mountain flight. It was truly once in a lifetime experience. We have also enjoyed the Paragliding facility in Sarangkot. The experience of the trip was a memorable one, and we were highly satisfied with all the arrangements. It was a great memory to cherish. We have traveled to Nepal last November. We took the direct flight to Kathmandu from Mumbai by Royal Nepal Airlines for our Nepal Package Tour. On our arrival day, we just went to Casino in Yak and Yeti Hotel for an experience, and it was an exciting experience. Luckily, we won Nepali Rupees of 2500 on that day. The next day, our day started with Pashupatinath Temple Darshan and Puja, and then we proceed to see the Darbar Square and Bhaktapur Ancient City. On the second day of our Nepal Tour, our night stay was in Nagarkot, a small hilltop destination. We stayed in the Club Himalaya, which was simply superb, and offers breathtaking views of Himalayas. The next day we moved to Pokhra, the journey was quite tiring and took around 8 hours. We reached in the afternoon around 4 pm, and on the way, we had lunch in the Mungli Bazar. In Pokhra, we visited Phewa Lake and Peace Pagoda. These two places are the prime attraction of Pokhra, and no tourists should miss it. We then traveled back to Kathmandu by a small flight, and then we took the direct return flight to Mumbai. Everything was arranged perfectly by NatureWings, and I must thank Mr. Sandip Raha for arranging such a nice Nepal Trip.

We did a Nepal Tour Plan from Bengaluru last year in December, and it went perfectly fine. The hotels, sightseeing, car, and the driver were perfect as per the commitment by our agent, NatureWings. We took a 4 Star package with Kathmandu, Nagarkot and Pokhra. We were six family members who went together for this Nepal Tour, and we liked the way NatureWings handled this trip in a professional and friendly way. Our best resort was in Pokhra, Fishtail Lodge, which is located just in front of Phewa Lake, and from the resort, we can see the Mount Annapurna snow peaks. In Pokhra, we have also visited less known Bengas Lake, and we took the boat ride in the said lake. Overall, our experience in this Nepal Tour Package was a memorable one, and we’ll recommend NatureWings to our friends and families.
