Hailing from humid Kolkata, Sikkim, and Darjeeling occupies a special place inside us apart from being the nearest hill station. Kanchenjunga standing head up high from my balcony with floating clouds passing by. Mr. Indrajeet booked good, safe rooms near to the reception and made sure to make comfort calls every day. Kolakham and Charkhole have a charm of its own, smiling people, far from the crowded cities, in the lap of untouched nature with picturesque views of the mountains that we could only dream.
